Coriama’s journey into beauty and wellness began long before SXII Esthetics existed. Growing up, she recognized how the rituals of care—touch, adornment, and reflection—held power to heal, to center, and to affirm identity. Over the years, Corrie’s fascination with the interplay between body, mind, and sensuality deepened, informed by her own experiences as a Black queer neurodiverse femme navigating both pleasure and trauma.

As a licensed aesthetician, creative, and interdisciplinary educator, Corrie has spent over a decade blending beauty, public health, and cultural practice into frameworks that honor the whole person. With SXII Esthetics (pronounced “sexy”), she guides women of the diaspora through ritualized beauty practices that nourish the mind-body connection, reframe sensuality as a cornerstone of embodied wellness, and create spaces where sensuality is both sacred and accessible.

Her approach—what she calls sensual systems beauty advisory—fuses licensed expertise with pleasure-informed guidance. Corrie’s work acknowledges that erotic knowledge isn’t just theoretical; it lives in our bodies, histories, and daily lives. Through this holistic practice, clients cultivate rituals, environments, and relationships that foster mindfulness, creativity, and wellbeing.

Beyond the treatment room, Corrie has shaped community-based sexual health education and erotic arts programming with culturally competent strategies that nourish communities. Her involvement in research like Texas Christian University’s Beauty Shop Study positions beauty professionals as trusted advocates for health and healing.

At the heart of her philosophy is a simple truth: softness is a spectrum of intentional strength, and sensuality is nuanced, not merely provocative. Corrie’s leadership lives at the intersection of liberation, intimacy, and care—an ongoing evolution of knowledge, practice, and desire for collective EI (erotic intelligence).
